Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) whose both hands and both feet were dyed with henna. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What is the matter with him?" The people replied: "O Messenger of Allah! He imitates women." So it was ordered regarding him that he should be expelled from Madinah and sent to a place called Naqi‘. It was asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Should we not kill him?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been forbidden from killing those who pray." In another narration, these words are mentioned: A eunuch was brought who had applied henna to both his hands and both his feet.
