A narrator named Abdullah reports from his father: When Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him) was besieged, he began to say the takbeer in front of us after the Zuhr prayer on the day of sacrifice, and he continued to say the takbeer until he performed the Zuhr prayer on the last day of the days of Tashreeq. (On the last day of the days of Tashreeq) he said the takbeer in the Fajr prayer, but did not say it in the Zuhr prayer.
