حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الْبَزَّازُ ، ثنا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ شِمْرٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، وَعَمَّارٍ ، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَجْهَرُ فِي الْمَكْتُوبَاتِ بِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ ، وَكَانَ يَقْنُتُ فِي الْفَجْرِ ، وَكَانَ يُكَبِّرُ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ صَلاةَ الْغَدَاةِ ، وَيَقْطَعُهَا صَلاةَ الْعَصْرِ آخِرَ أَيَّامِ التَّشْرِيقِ " .
Sayyiduna Ali and Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrate: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite "Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem" aloud in the obligatory prayers. He (peace be upon him) used to recite the supplication of Qunoot in the Fajr prayer, and he (peace be upon him) would begin reciting the Takbeer after the Fajr prayer on the day of Arafah and would end it after the Asr prayer on the last day of the days of Tashreeq (i.e., he would recite it after every prayer).
