ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الدَّقَّاقُ ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَزَّازُ ، ثنا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ ، ثنا فَرَجُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " التَّكْبِيرُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الأُولَى سَبْعُ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ ، وَفِي الأَخِيرَةِ خَمْسُ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Takbeers will be proclaimed in the two Eids; in the first rak'ah there will be seven takbeers and in the second rak'ah there will be five takbeers."
