حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، نا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، نا أَبُو يَعْقُوبَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّوْأَمُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : بَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَتْبَعَهُ عُمَرُ بِكُوزٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنِّي لَمْ أُؤْمَرْ أَنْ أَتَوَضَّأَ كُلَّمَا بُلْتُ ، وَلَوْ فَعَلْتُ كَانَتْ سُنَّةً " . لا بَأْسَ بِهِ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ أَبُو يَعْقُوبَ التَّوْأَمُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ حَدَّثَ بِهِ عَنْهُ جَمَاعَةٌ مِنَ الرُّفَعَاءِ.
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Once the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) urinated, so Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) brought a vessel of water. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have not been commanded to do this, that whenever I urinate I should immediately perform ablution. If I do this, it will become a Sunnah." This narration has also been transmitted with another chain of narration.
