حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْوَرَّاقُ ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ الْمُؤَذِّنُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكَبِّرُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ فِي الأُولَى سَبْعًا ، وَفِي الآخِرَةِ خَمْسًا ، وَكَانَ يَبْدَأُ بِالصَّلاةِ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ " .
Abdullah bin Muhammad narrates from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to say seven takbirs in the first rak'ah of the Eid prayer and five takbirs in the second rak'ah. The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to perform the prayer before delivering the sermon.
