The Book of the Two Eids

Hadith 1725

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَهَا وَلا بَعْدَهَا " ، يَعْنِي الْعِيدَ .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not perform any prayer before or after this prayer (the narrator states: meaning the Eid prayer).
