حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ ، ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، " أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا غَدَا يَوْمَ الأَضْحَى وَيَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ يَجْهَرُ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ الْمُصَلَّى ثُمَّ يُكَبِّرُ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ الإِمَامُ " .
It is narrated about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them): When he would set out on the day of Eid al-Adha or the day of Eid al-Fitr, he would continuously recite the Takbeer aloud until he reached the Eidgah, and then after that, he would continue reciting the Takbeer until the Imam arrived.
