حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، ثنا قَبِيصَةُ ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ ، قَالَ : " كَانُوا فِي التَّكْبِيرِ فِي الْفِطْرِ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ فِي الأَضْحَى " .
Abu Abdur Rahman Salami narrates: In earlier times, people used to recite the Takbeer on the day of Eid al-Fitr with more intensity (that is, in a louder voice) compared to Eid al-Adha.
