حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، ثنا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " مِنَ السُّنَّةِ أَنْ لا يَخْرُجَ حَتَّى يَطْعَمَ وَيُخْرِجَ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Sunnah is that a person should not go out (to perform the Eid prayer) until he has eaten something and given the Sadaqat al-Fitr.
