ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، ثنا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ الْهَيْصَمِ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَرَوِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنِي بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ صَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلاةَ الصُّبْحِ ، " فَلَمَّا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرَّكْعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ قَامَ هُنَيْهَةً " .
Muhammad bin Sirin narrates: This person related this hadith to me, who had performed the Fajr prayer behind the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). When the Prophet (peace be upon him) raised his head after the second rak'ah, he stood for a short while (that is, during this time he recited the supplication of Qunoot).
