Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates about the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform voluntary prayers on top of his mount, regardless of which direction it was facing, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would gesture with his head (for bowing and prostration)."
