بَابٌ: فِيمَنْ يُدْرِكُ مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَةً أَوْ لَمْ يُدْرِكْهَاChapter: Regarding one who catches a rak'ah of Jumu'ah or misses it

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَامِدٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ، ثنا يَعِيشُ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا وَلْيُضِفْ إِلَيْهَا أُخْرَى " . وَقَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ : عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَةً فَلْيُصَلِّ إِلَيْهَا أُخْرَى ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever catches one rak'ah of the Friday (Jumu'ah) prayer, he has caught that prayer, and he should add the second rak'ah to it." Ibn Numayr has narrated this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever catches one rak'ah of the Friday prayer, he should perform the second along with it."
