بَابٌ: فِيمَنْ يُدْرِكُ مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَةً أَوْ لَمْ يُدْرِكْهَاChapter: Regarding one who catches a rak'ah of Jumu'ah or misses it

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصَفَّا ، وعَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ، قَالا : نا بَقِيَّةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الأَيْلِيُّ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنْ صَلاةِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَغَيْرِهَا فَلْيُضِفْ إِلَيْهَا أُخْرَى وَقَدْ تَمَّتْ صَلاتُهُ " . وَقَالَ عَمْرُو : " وَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الصَّلاةَ " . قَالَ لَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ : لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ يُونُسَ ، إِلا بَقِيَّةُ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever catches one rak'ah of the Jumu'ah prayer or any other prayer, then he should add another rak'ah to it, and his prayer will be complete." Umar has narrated these words: "That person has caught the prayer." Abu Bakr bin Abu Dawud has narrated this, and the rest of these words have been narrated by Baqiyyah from Yunus.
