Abi bin Abbas narrates from his father, from his grandfather Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him): It was asked from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) about the method of performing istinja (cleaning after relieving oneself), so he said: “Can you not find three stones? Two stones for cleaning the sides of the outlet, and one stone for cleaning the outlet itself.” Its chain of narration is “Hasan” (good).
