حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ الْخَالِقِ ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ رِشْدِينَ ، نا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، نا نَافِعُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْعُتَقِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُنَيْنٍ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ كُلالٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَقْرَأَهُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَجْدَةً فِي الْقُرْآنِ ، مِنْهَا ثَلاثٌ فِي الْمُفَصَّلِ ، وَفِي سُورَةِ الْحَجِّ سَجْدَتَيْنِ " .
Sayyiduna Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught him that there are fifteen places in the Noble Qur'an where prostration (sajdah) is to be performed; three of them are in the Mufassal surahs, and there are two prostrations in Surah al-Hajj.
