حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نا يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، نا حَجَّاجٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَقُولُ : " رَأَيْتُ عُمَرَ قَرَأَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ ص ، فَنَزَلَ فَسَجَدَ ، ثُمَّ رَقَى عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ " .
Saeed bin Jubair narrates: He heard Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) stating that he said: I heard Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reciting Surah Sad on the pulpit. He descended from the pulpit, performed the prostration of recitation, and then ascended the pulpit again.
