حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، ثنا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ جُمَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي ، عَنْ أُمِّ وَرَقَةَ وَكَانَتْ تَؤُمُّ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَذِنَ لَهَا أَنْ تَؤُمَّ أَهْلَ دَارِهَا " .
Sayyida Umm Waraqah (may Allah be pleased with her) used to lead (women) in prayer. She narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had granted her this permission; she used to lead the women of her neighborhood (in prayer).
