بَابُ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الْقَوْسِ وَالْقَرْنِ وَالنَّعْلِ وَطُرْحِ الشَّيْءِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ إِذَا كَانَ فِيهِ نَجَاسَةٌChapter on praying with a bow, horn, or sandals, and discarding something with impurity during prayer
Hadith 1486

ثنا يَزْدَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْكَاتِبُ ، ثنا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ، ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ ، قَالَ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الصَّلاةَ فِي الْقَوْسِ وَالْقَرْنِ ، فَقَالَ : " اطْرَحِ الْقَرْنَ وَصَلِّ فِي الْقَوْسِ " .
Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: It was asked from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about performing prayer while wearing a quiver or a horn, so he said: “Remove the horn and perform prayer while wearing the quiver.”
