Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was on a journey, and all the people slept through the time of the Fajr prayer. They woke up due to the heat of the sun. When the sun had risen a little and was shining brightly, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered the muezzin, and he gave the adhan. Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed two rak‘ahs before offering the Fajr prayer. The muezzin gave the iqamah, and then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the Fajr prayer (as a make-up prayer).
