Hadith 1425

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ، ثنا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، ثنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الطَّالْقَانِيُّ ، ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ طَهْمَانَ ، قَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ وَسَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ ، يَقُولُ : كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ ثَبَتًا فِي الْحَدِيثِ ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُكْتِبِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَتْ لِي بَوَاسِيرُ ، فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " صَلِّ قَائِمًا ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَقَاعِدًا ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَعَلَى جَنْبِكَ " .
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was suffering from hemorrhoids, so I asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about it. He said: "Perform the prayer standing; if you cannot do so, then sitting; and if you cannot do that, then lying on your side."
