بَابُ صِفَةِ السَّهْوِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَأَحْكَامِهِ وَاخْتِلَافِ الرِّوَايَاتِ فِي ذَلِكَ وَأَنَّهُ لَا يَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ شَيْءٌ يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِChapter on the description of forgetfulness in prayer, its rulings, differences in narrations, and that nothing passing in front of one praying invalidates the prayer

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، قَالا : نا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، ثنا قَتَادَةُ بْنُ دِعَامَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " سَجَدَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ ذِي الْيَدَيْنِ بَعْدَ السَّلامِ " . وَاللَّفْظُ لأَحْمَدَ.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the prostration of forgetfulness (sajda sahw) after concluding the prayer with salam on the day Dhu’l-Yadayn drew his attention. These are the words of Ahmad bin Abdur Rahman.
