بَابُ صِفَةِ السَّهْوِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَأَحْكَامِهِ وَاخْتِلَافِ الرِّوَايَاتِ فِي ذَلِكَ وَأَنَّهُ لَا يَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ شَيْءٌ يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِChapter on the description of forgetfulness in prayer, its rulings, differences in narrations, and that nothing passing in front of one praying invalidates the prayer

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرٌ ، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ، عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " زَارَ الْعَبَّاسَ فِي بَادِيَةٍ لَهُ ، فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعَصْرَ وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ كُلَيْبَةٌ وَحِمَارٌ لَمْ يُؤَخَّرَا وَلَمْ يُزْجَرَا " .
Sayyiduna Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to visit Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) in his nearby area. There, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the Asr prayer. A small dog and a donkey passed in front of him, but they were not driven away nor were they scolded.
