بَابُ اسْتِعْمَالِ الرَّجُلِ فَضْلَ وُضُوءِ الْمَرْأَةِChapter on a man using the leftover ablution water of a woman
Hadith 138

نا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نا أَبُو هِشَامٍ الرِّفَاعِيُّ ، نا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ الرَّجُلُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ " . قَالَ : تَابَعَهُ أَيُّوبُ ، وَمَالِكٌ ، وَابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، وَغَيْرُهُمْ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: In the blessed time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), we men and women (i.e., husband and wife) used to perform ablution from the same vessel. This narration is also transmitted with another chain of narration.
