حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، وَعُمَرُ بْنُ شَبَّةَ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الأَسْفَاطِيُّ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ أَبُو بِشْرٍ ، ثنا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : " أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نُسَلِّمَ عَلَى أَئِمَّتِنَا وَأَنْ يُسَلِّمَ بَعْضُنَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ " .
Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us: We should send salam (greetings of peace) upon our rulers and also send salam upon one another.
