Hadith 1355

حَدَّثَنَا يَزْدَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، ثنا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ ، نا عَتِيقُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُهَيْمِنِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُسَلِّمُ تَسْلِيمَةً وَاحِدَةً لا يَزِيدُ عَلَيْهَا " .
Abdul Muhaymin narrates from his father, who reports from his grandfather: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to say one salam (salutation of peace), and he did not say any additional salam.
