Hadith 1353

ثنا ابْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، ثنا الرَّمَادِيُّ ، ثنا نُعَيْمٌ ، ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي مَيْمُونٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسَلِّمُ وَاحِدَةً فِي الصَّلاةِ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ فَإِذَا سَلَّمَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ سَلَّمَ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say salam once facing forward in prayer, but when he turned salam to the right side, he would also turn it to the left side.
