Hadith 1350

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، عَنْ حُرَيْثٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ تَسْلِيمَتَيْنِ " .
Sayyiduna Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say salam twice (i.e., to both sides).
