Hadith 1283

حَدَّثَنَا دَعْلَجُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ، ثنا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بِهَمَذَانَ ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رَكَعَ فَرَّجَ أَصَابِعَهُ ، وَإِذَا سَجَدَ ضَمَّ أَصَابِعَهُ الْخَمْسَ " . قَالَ دَعْلَجُ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ، ثُمَّ لَقِيتُ مُوسَى فَحَدَّثَنِي بِهِ.
Alqamah bin Wa'il narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr, may Allah be pleased with him): When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would go into bowing (ruku'), he would keep his fingers spread apart, and when he would go into prostration (sajdah), he would join all five fingers together. This narration is also transmitted with some other chains of transmission.
