حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَيَّارٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى الْوَقَّارُ ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، ثنا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلاةً فَلَمَّا قَضَاهَا ، قَالَ : " هَلْ قَرَأَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ مَعِيَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ ؟ " ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ : أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنِّي أَقُولُ مَا لِي أُنَازَعُ فِي الْقُرْآنِ إِذَا أَسْرَرْتُ بِقِرَاءَتِي فَاقْرَءُوا مَعِيَ ، وَإِذَا جَهَرْتُ بِقِرَاءَتِي فَلا يَقْرَأَنَّ مَعِيَ أَحَدٌ " . تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ زَكَرِيَّا الْوَقَّارُ وَهُوَ مُنْكَرُ الْحَدِيثِ مَتْرُوكٌ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led a prayer. When he completed it, he inquired: "Did any one of you recite the Qur'an with me?" One of those present replied: "I did, O Messenger of Allah!" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I was also thinking about who is competing with me in recitation. When I recite in a low voice, then you may recite with me, and when I recite aloud, then no one should recite with me." In narrating this tradition, the narrator named Zakariya is unique, and this person is considered unreliable in hadith and is abandoned.
