Chapter: The saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him): "The imam is appointed to be followed."

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الرَّازِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ الرَّازِيُّ ، ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى التَّيْمِيُّ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ إِمَامٌ فَقِرَاءَتُهُ لَهُ قِرَاءَةٌ " . أَبُو يَحْيَى التَّيْمِيُّ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ ضَعِيفَانِ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has an imam, the recitation of the imam is considered his recitation." Abu Yahya Taimi and Muhammad bin Abadiyah are both weak (narrators).
