حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَاعِدٍ ، ثنا سَوَّارُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ، وَعَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ، وَزِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ وَاللَّفْظُ لِسَوَّارٍ ، قَالُوا : ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، ثنا الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا صَلاةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِ فَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ " . قَالَ زِيَادٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : " لا تُجْزِيءُ صَلاةٌ لا يَقْرَأُ الرَّجُلُ فِيهَا بِ فَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ " ، هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ صَحِيحٌ.
Muhammad bin Rabee' narrates: Sayyiduna 'Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) reported this, that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The prayer of the one who does not recite Surah Al-Fatihah is not valid." The narrator named Ziyad has narrated these words: "The prayer of the one who does not recite Surah Al-Fatihah in it is not correct." The chain of this hadith is authentic.
