حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رُشْدِ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ الْهِلالِيُّ ، ثنا عَمِّي سَعِيدُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ ، نا حَنْظَلَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، " أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَجْهَرُ بِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ ، وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَجْهَرُ بِهَا " .
It is narrated about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that he used to recite "Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim" aloud, and he mentioned that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also used to recite it aloud.
