حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ ، ثنا أَبُو الأَشْعَثِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ ، ثنا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَفْتَتِحُ الصَّلاةَ بِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite "Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim" aloud at the beginning of the prayer.
