حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ الْمُهْتَدِي بِاللَّهِ ، وَأَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ الأَنْطَاكِيُّ ، وَأَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، وَأَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الأُبُلِّيُّ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَمْزَةَ ، ثنا أبِي ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : صَلَّى بِنَا أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الْمَهْدِيُّ الْمَغْرِبَ فَجَهَرَ بِ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ ، قَالَ : فَقُلْتُ : يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ، مَا هَذَا ؟ فَقَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " جَهَرَ بِبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ " . قَالَ : قُلْتُ : نُؤْثِرُهُ عَنْكَ ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ.
Ahmad bin Muhammad, may Allah have mercy on him, narrates from his father, who narrates from his grandfather: The Commander of the Faithful, Mahdi, led us in the Maghrib prayer. He recited "Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim" aloud. The narrator says: I asked, "O Commander of the Faithful! What is this method?" He replied: My father narrated from his father, from his grandfather, from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite "Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim" aloud. The narrator says: I asked, "Can we narrate this from you?" He replied: Yes.
