بَابُ دُعَاءِ الِاسْتِفْتَاحِ بَعْدَ التَّكْبِيرِChapter on the opening supplication after the takbir

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ صَاعِدٍ ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَاللَّفْظُ لِيُوسُفَ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، ثنا أَبُو الأَزْهَرِ ، قَالا : ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ ، ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَعُبَيْدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، فَسَأَلْتُهَا عَنِ افْتِتَاحِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَقَالَتْ : كَانَ إِذَا كَبَّرَ قَالَ : سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ ، وَلا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ " .
Ata reports: I and Ubaid bin Umair went to the service of Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). We asked her about the beginning of the prayer of the Prophet (peace be upon him). She said: When the Prophet (peace be upon him) said the takbir, he used to recite: "Glory be to You, O Allah! Praise is for You, blessed is Your name, exalted is Your majesty, and there is no deity except You."
