حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، وَأَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، قَالا : نا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، بِهَذَا " إِذَا افْتَتَحَ التَّكْبِيرَ فِي الصَّلاةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حِينَ يُكَبِّرُ حَتَّى يَجْعَلَهُمَا حَذْوَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ " نَحْوَهُ.
The same narration is transmitted from Zuhri with another chain, in which these words are present: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) began the prayer with the opening takbir, he would raise both hands at the time he was saying the takbir, until both hands reached the level of his shoulders (after this, the narration continues as previously mentioned).
