حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نا أَبُو الأَزْهَرِ ، نا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، ثنا عَبْدُ السَّلامِ بْنُ حَفْصٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا حُوِّلَتِ الْقِبْلَةُ إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ مَرَّ رَجُلٌ بِأَهْلِ قُبَاءٍ وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ : قَدْ حُوِّلَتِ الْقِبْلَةُ إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ ، فَاسْتَدَارُوا أَمَامَهُمْ نَحْوَ الْكَعْبَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Ka'bah was made the qiblah, a person passed by the people of Quba while they were performing prayer. That person said to them: "The Ka'bah has been made the qiblah." So those people, along with their imam, turned their faces towards the Ka'bah.
