It is narrated from Tawoos (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked: Which person has a good voice for the Qur'an? Or who is the best reciter?
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I do not want to find any of you reclining with one leg over the other, singing the Qur'an and neglecting Surah Al-Baqarah.
