Hadith 3480
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever recites one hundred verses in a single night will not be written among the heedless (those who are neglectful of the Qur’an).” Imam Darimi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Some narrators have mentioned the name Rashid bin Sa’d instead of “Salim.”
Hadith 3481
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Whoever recites one hundred verses in a single night will be recorded among the devout.
Hadith 3482
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Tamim Dari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites one hundred verses in a night, for him the standing (qiyam) of one night will be recorded."
Hadith 3483
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ كَعْبٌ: "مَنْ قَرَأَ مِائَةَ آيَةٍ، كُتِبَ مِنْ الْقَانِتِينَ".
Sayyiduna Ka'b al-Ahbar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever recites one hundred verses is recorded among the devoutly obedient (Qanitin).
Hadith 3484
Sayyiduna Tamim Dari and Sayyiduna Fadala bin Ubaid (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Whoever recites one hundred verses at night is recorded among the devout.
Hadith 3485
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever recites one hundred verses in the night is recorded among the devout.
Hadith 3486
Habib bin Ubaid said: I heard Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) say: Whoever recites one hundred verses will not be written among the heedless.
