باب مَنْ قَرَأَ خَمْسِينَ آيَةً:
Chapter on one who recites fifty verses
Hadith 3478
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا فِطْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: "مَنْ قَرَأَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ بِخَمْسِينَ آيَةً، لَمْ يُكْتَبْ مِنْ الْغَافِلِينَ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever recites fifty verses in a night will not be written among the heedless.
Hadith 3479
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بِسْطَامَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ تَمِيمٍ الدَّارِيِّ، وَفَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَا: "مَنْ قَرَأَ بِخَمْسِينَ آيَةً فِي لَيْلَةٍ، كُتِبَ مِنْ الْحَافِظِينَ".
Sayyiduna Tamim Dari and Sayyiduna Fadala bin Ubaid (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Whoever recites fifty verses in one night will be recorded among the memorizers.
