Hadith 3471
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I held the blessed foot of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while on a mount and submitted: O Messenger of Allah! Teach me Surah Hud and Surah Yusuf. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "O Uqbah! You will never recite any surah of the Qur'an more beloved and eloquent to Allah than «قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ» (i.e., Surah Al-Falaq is the most beloved and eloquent to Allah)." Yazid said: Abu Imran would always recite this in the Maghrib prayer.
Hadith 3472
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I was walking with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he said: "O Uqbah! Recite." I asked: What should I recite? Sayyiduna Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: He remained silent, then after a while said: "O Uqbah! Recite." I again asked: What should I recite? He said: " «قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ» ". So I recited the entire surah to the end, and at that time the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No one who asked has asked with anything like it, and no one seeking refuge has sought refuge with anything like it."
Hadith 3473
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some verses have been revealed to me the like of which has never been seen, that is, the Mu'awwidhatayn «﴿قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ﴾» and «﴿قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ﴾»."
