Upon this, Sayyiduna 'Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "Then, O Messenger of Allah, we will build many palaces!" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah is even more expansive than that." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Allah Almighty has divided the Qur’an into three parts (i.e., in terms of meanings and concepts: stories, rulings, and attributes (of Allah Almighty)), and «قُلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ أَحَدٌ» (Surah Al-Ikhlas) is considered as one third. (In which the comprehensive attributes of Allah Almighty are mentioned).”

Hadith 3469
It is narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila, who narrated from a woman of the Ansar, that Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) came to her and said: Do you know what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has brought? This Ansari woman replied: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has brought us many good things, you tell me what news you have brought? Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) said: He (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us: "Is any one of you unable to recite a third of the Qur'an in one night?" We feared that he (peace and blessings be upon him) wanted us to do an action which we would not be able to do, so we did not reply. He (peace and blessings be upon him) repeated this question three times and said: "Is any one of you unable to recite «﴿قُلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ أَحَدٌ ، اللّٰهُ الصَّمَدُ﴾» Surah Ikhlas?"
