Hadith 3440
Khalid bin Ma'dan said: Recite the saving Surah. It has reached me that there was a man who used to recite it, and did not recite anything else. He was very sinful. This Surah spread its wings over that person and requested Allah: O Lord! This man used to recite me abundantly. So Allah accepted its intercession and said: For every sin of his, write a good deed and raise him one rank. (In some versions, after "saving" there is «الم تنزيل السجدة»). That is, this Surah is the saving one.
Hadith 3441
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Damrah that Sayyiduna Ka'b al-Ahbar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever recites «تنزيل السجده» and «تبارك الذى بيده الملك», seventy good deeds will be written for him, seventy sins will be erased, and seventy ranks will be elevated for him.
Hadith 3442
Khalid bin Ma'dan said: Indeed, (Surah) «الم تنزيل» will argue in the grave for its reciter. It will say: O Allah! If I am from Your Book (the Qur'an), then accept my intercession regarding him, and if I am not from Your Book, then erase me from him. And it will be like a bird that will shade over him. It will intercede for him and save him from the punishment of the grave. And (Surah) «تبارك» is the same way. Thus, Khalid bin Ma'dan himself would not sleep without reciting these two Surahs.
Hadith 3443
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not go to sleep until he had recited «الم السجدة» and «تبارك».
Hadith 3444
Tawoos (may Allah have mercy on him) said: These two Surahs of the Qur'an («سجده» and «تبارك») have sixty more good deeds (degrees) than every other Surah.
Hadith 3445
It is narrated from Amr bin Murrah, he heard from his father Murrah, who said: A man was buried in his grave, punishment came towards his grave, then a surah of thirty verses came and began to defend him. The narrator said: I and Masruq considered, and did not find any surah with thirty verses except «تبارك».
