باب فَضْلِ مَنِ اسْتَمَعَ إِلَى الْقُرْآنِ:
Chapter on the virtue of listening to the Quran
Hadith 3398
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، قَالَ: "إِنَّ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ لَهُ أَجْرٌ، وَإِنَّ الَّذِي يَسْتَمِعُ لَهُ أَجْرَانِ".
Khalid bin Ma'dan said: Indeed, the one who recites the Qur'an has one reward, and the one who listens to the Qur'an has double the reward.
Hadith 3399
حَدَّثَنَا رَزِينُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: "مَنْ اسْتَمَعَ إِلَى آيَةٍ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ، كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا".
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Whoever listens attentively to a single verse of the Noble Qur'an, it will be a light (illumination) for him.
