Hadith 3215
Abdullah bin Aun reported that Muhammad bin Sirin, may Allah have mercy on him, made a will and wrote: This is the mention of the will that he wrote, or it is written: This is the mention of the will of Muhammad bin Sirin (Abu Bakr bin Abi Amrah) for his son and family: Fear Allah, and reconcile your mutual relations, and obey Allah and His Messenger if you are believers [ترجمه: سوره الانفال: 1/8] , then he advised them with what Ibrahim (peace be upon him) advised his sons and what Yaqub (peace be upon him) advised: O my sons! Allah has chosen this religion for you, so beware, do not die except as Muslims [البقره 122/2] , and he advised them not to be indifferent to the Ansar and their religious brothers, and that chastity and truthfulness are better and purer than adultery and lying. If, due to this illness of mine, any incident occurs and I do not alter this will, then ...... After this, he wrote the necessary matters in the will.
Hadith 3216
It is narrated from Ibn Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: He used to make a will in this manner: This is the will of so-and-so, son of so-and-so, that he bears witness that there is no deity except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, I bear witness that Muhammad is Allah’s servant and His Messenger, and that the Hour will surely come, there is no doubt about it, and Allah will resurrect those who are in the graves. And he would advise his family and dependents whom he leaves behind to fear Allah, to mend their mutual relations, and if they are believers, to obey Allah and His Messenger, and he would make the same will as Ibrahim (peace be upon him) made to his sons and as Yaqub (peace be upon him) did: “O my sons! Indeed, Allah has chosen for you the religion (Islam), so do not die except as Muslims.” Then he would make a will that if any incident occurs in this illness or disease, then his will is as follows ......
Hadith 3217
It is narrated from Hafs bin Ghailan that when Mak’hool (may Allah have mercy on him) made his will, he said: We bear witness to this, you be witnesses to it, there is no deity except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, and Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. And whoever (servant) believes in Allah, rejects idols, then, insha’Allah, he will die upon this and will be raised upon this. And he made a will regarding the inheritance given by Allah: if any incident happens to them, then it should be done in this way, if they do not make any changes in it (i.e., if he himself does not make any changes before dying, then this will is enforceable).
Hadith 3218
It is narrated from Mak’hool (may Allah have mercy on him) that this (aforementioned) advice is from Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him).
Hadith 3219
Abu Hayyan al-Taymi narrated from his father that Rabi’ bin Khuthaym wrote a will (in this manner): In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful: This is the will of Rabi’ bin Khuthaym. And I bear witness, and Allah’s testimony is sufficient, that He rewards His righteous servants with recompense and reward. I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad (peace be upon him) as my Prophet. And I command myself and whoever obeys me to worship Allah with the worshippers, to praise Him among those who praise, and to show goodwill to the Muslim community.
