Hadith 3210
It is narrated from Qasim bin Umar that Thumamah bin Hazn said to me: What happened to your father? I replied: He has passed away. He said: Did he make a will? Because it was said that when a man makes a will, his will compensates for what was deficient from his zakat. Imam Darimi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Others have said Qasim bin Amr.
Hadith 3211
Imam Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: It is said that whoever makes a will in which there is no injustice or excess, then for him is the same reward as if he had given charity during his lifetime.
Hadith 3212
It is narrated from Qaza'ah that it was said to Harm bin Hayan, "Advise us." So he said: "I advise you to (recite) the last verses of Surah An-Nahl." And Ibn Hayan recited these verses from «ادْعُ إِلَى سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ» to «وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ مُحْسِنُونَ».
