Hadith 2879
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Hell complained to its Lord and said: O my Lord! Some parts of me have consumed others. So Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, allowed it two breaths: one breath in the cold season, and one breath in the hot season. Thus, the extreme heat and the extreme cold that you experience are due to this (breath of) Zamharir.”
