باب في أَشْجَارِ الْجَنَّةِ:
Chapter on the trees of Paradise
Hadith 2872
أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ شَجَرَةً يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ فِي ظِلِّهَا مِائَةَ عَامٍ لَا يَقْطَعُهَا، وَاقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ: وَظِلٍّ مَمْدُودٍ سورة الواقعة آية 30".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In Paradise, there is a tree under whose shade a rider could travel for a hundred years and still not cross it. If you wish, recite: «﴿وَظِلٍّ مَمْدُودٍ﴾» (Al-Waqi'ah: 30/56), meaning there are long shades in Paradise."
Hadith 2873
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي الضَّحَّاكِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ شَجَرَةً يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ فِي ظِلِّهَا مِائَةَ عَامٍ لَا يَقْطَعُهَا، هِيَ شَجَرَةُ الْخُلْدِ".
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) heard from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace be upon him) said: "In Paradise, there is a tree under whose shade a rider could travel for a hundred years and still the shade would not end. This will be the shade of the Tree of Eternity, that is, a tree that will always remain and endure."
