باب: «لَمَوْضِعُ سَوْطٍ في الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا»:
Chapter: A spot in Paradise as small as a whip is better than the world and all it contains
Hadith 2855
أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "لَمَوْضِعُ سَوْطٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا، وَاقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ: كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ سورة آل عمران آية 185" الْآيَةَ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In Paradise, the place of a whip belonging to any one of you is better than the world and whatever is in it. If you wish, recite this verse: «﴿فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ . . . . . . .﴾» (Aal-e-Imran: 185/3) 'Every soul shall taste death, and you will only be given your full rewards on the Day of Resurrection. So whoever is saved from the Fire and admitted to Paradise, he indeed is successful. And the life of this world is nothing but the enjoyment of deception.'"
